51JOB Terms of Service
Operating model: direct project payments; platform services agreed separately.
1. Platform role
51JOB provides opportunities, provider discovery and project-planning tools. The client and provider agree their own project contract. 51JOB is not the employer or the provider of that project. A separately agreed service supplied by 51JOB is its own contract.
2. Accounts and listing accuracy
Use accurate, current information you are authorised to share. Verification labels describe only the checks explicitly listed, not a guarantee of reliability, capability or results. Report inaccurate, expired or unauthorised content through Contact Us.
3. Projects and external opportunities
Confirm availability and conditions before applying or quoting. External listings link to their original source and do not imply the advertiser has joined 51JOB. Do not post false opportunities, unlawful services, discriminatory conditions, stolen content or private details without permission.
4. Employment and freelance work
An actual employment relationship is not changed by calling it freelance work. Employers and workers remain responsible for applicable work rights, wages, entitlements, tax, safety and other obligations. Candidates are not required to buy 51JOB services to browse or apply for work.
5. Agree the project before starting
Confirm each party, scope, deliverables, revisions, dates, acceptance criteria, intellectual property, confidentiality, cancellation and payment conditions in writing. State the currency, taxes and any transfer or currency-conversion fees, including who pays them. Keep your own copies of agreements and delivery records.
6. Direct project payments
The client pays the provider directly by a method they both agree. The provider supplies the relevant project invoice or receipt. 51JOB does not receive or hold project funds, operate a project wallet, release milestone payments or automatically deduct a project commission. A quote, message or progress label on 51JOB is not proof of payment, escrow, insurance or a payment guarantee.
7. Optional 51JOB services
Basic registration and project-posting applications are currently free. If you request a paid service from 51JOB, its availability, scope, deliverables, total price, currency, applicable tax, payment timing and cancellation terms must be agreed before purchase. Any invoice or payment link from 51JOB is solely for that agreed platform service, not for the provider’s project work. No paid subscription or automatic renewal is currently offered.
8. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
For provider project work, first raise the issue with the provider and use any rights or dispute process available through your payment provider. 51JOB cannot reverse a payment it did not process. For a service purchased from 51JOB, contact 51JOB with its service reference and the issue. Platform moderation or assistance does not amount to a binding decision about a third-party payment. These arrangements do not exclude, restrict or modify rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian consumer guarantees.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in content you lawfully upload and give 51JOB a limited licence to use it as needed to display, operate, review and facilitate the platform. Upload only material you have the right to use. Credible infringement reports may result in restriction or removal of content.
10. Privacy and safety
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Share only the information required for a project and confirm access arrangements before cross-border collaboration. Do not post passwords, identity documents or banking credentials publicly. Fraud, impersonation, malicious code, spam, fake reviews and attempts to bypass security controls are prohibited.
11. Feature availability
The platform is in beta. AI generation is disabled. Local planning tools do not translate text or send it to an AI provider. Some project, messaging and file workflows are still being tested; keep independent copies and use an agreed appropriate channel for sensitive project files.
12. Changes and contact
51JOB may restrict accounts or content to address misuse, investigate issues or meet legal obligations, with reasons and review information where reasonably practicable. Material changes to these terms will be notified where appropriate. Contact 51JOB through its contact page or 51jobau@outlook.com.
